Jaime González (1964-2021) was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. He graduated as a Civil Engineer in the Technology and Higher Studies Institute of the West (known as ITESO for its acronym in Spanish). Additionally, he completed his postgraduate studies in Economics and Sociology at Kansas University in the United States.

Jaime held numerous leadership roles in the business world, such as serving as the president of the Industrial Development of Tijuana (DEITAC), Bucher Industries, and many other distinguished businesses. Moreover, he strongly promoted the Tijuana-San Diego region by being part of several organizations, such as the San Diego and Los Angeles Chambers of Commerce. Jaime also served as a counselor for Tijuana Innovadora, emphasizing that “in order to achieve success, you must always be consistent.”
