Jaime González (1964-2021), was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, graduating as a Civil Engineer from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), in addition to graduate studies in Economics and Sociology at the University of Kansas, in the United States.
His business leadership was manifested by having been president of Desarrollo Industrial de Tijuana (DEITAC), president of Bucher Industries, among other positions. Likewise, he strongly promoted the Tijuana-San Diego region, being part of multiple organizations and boards such as the Chambers of Commerce of San Diego and Los Angeles. He also served as advisor and counselor of Tijuana Innovadora, always emphasizing that “to achieve success you have to be constant” as a collective thought.
